​An installation composed of old medical instruments that had been left sleeping in the warehouse of my family’s home, which used to be an emergency surgery clinic, intermingled with one another.

As with my other works, various fragments—existences akin to noise spilling over from daily life—intersect as if thrown into this space. Within it, the distinct light and texture of these abruptly placed medical devices offer a sudden glimpse into fundamental matters, such as the ordinary and the extraordinary, or life and death.

This landscape could be said to reflect the very scenery expanding within my subconscious, having grown up in close proximity to the medical field.
